Oct. 24

SUSPICIOUS PERSON: 9:57 a.m. at Los Gatos-Saratoga Road and University Avenue. A man with rotting teeth abandoned his bicycle on the center median and walked away with a chainsaw in hand. He was gone when officers arrived.

Oct. 25

BURGLARY
10:17 a.m. on Villa Avenue. Someone entered a vehicle and stole a laptop, an iPad, a drone and cellphones.

PETTY THEFT: 1:46 p.m. at Nob Hill Foods on Los Gatos Boulevard. A woman’s wallet and phone were taken out of her purse while she was in the store.

PETTY THEFT: 3:27 p.m. on Anne Way. A man said his black six-shooter Remington .22 was stolen roughly two months ago. He thinks his sister stole it.

SUSPICIOUS PERSON: 7:38 a.m. at Casa Vasona Garden Apartments on University Avenue. A man left home and noticed two people wearing hoodies, one with a ski mask, began following him. He said that few days ago, he and his sister were followed during a road rage incident, and the suspect brandished a firearm. That suspect was subsequently arrested, but the man has been paranoid ever since.

VEHICLE CODE VIOLATION: 8:43 a.m. at Camino Del Cerro and Escobar Avenue. A caller said there have been ongoing issues with juveniles on electric bicycles not following the rules of the road. They also seem to intentionally taunt pedestrians. The caller observed them approach an older male who was walking with a cane. He believes they purposely rode very close to him in an attempt to get him to fall.

PETTY THEFT: 5:26 p.m. on Pine Wood Lane. A woman was out for a walk when someone approached her. When she got home, her gold chain was gone.

Oct. 27

JUVENILE DISTURBANCE: 12:18 p.m. on West Main Street. A group of juveniles were sitting in the back plot holding pumpkins and crowding the lot.

VEHICLE CODE VIOLATION: 5:19 p.m. at North Santa Cruz Avenue and grays lane. About 15 juveniles were riding electric bikes. The caller said they ride on both the sidewalk and roadway.

JUVENILE DISTURBANCE: 5:31 p.m. at Winchester Boulevard and Knowles Drive. About 12 juveniles were riding electric bikes and running red lights.

JUVENILE DISTURBANCE: 5:43 p.m. at Winchester Boulevard and Wimbledon Drive. Multiple juveniles were riding electric bikes and blocking traffic.
