A vehicle hit and killed a pedestrian in East San Jose on Saturday night, police said.

Vehicle driver still sought in hit-and-run death of East Bay bicyclist

The collision happened around 7:45 p.m. near the intersection of Quimby Road and South White Road.

It was the 35th traffic fatality and 25th pedestrian death so far this year, according to police.

The San Jose Police Department was not immediately able to provide more information.
