Redwood City: Man arrested on suspicion of grabbing girl

REDWOOD CITY – A 56-year-old Redwood City man was arrested on suspicion of grabbing a 16-year-old girl around the waist and making sexual comments to her last week in Redwood City, police said.

The incident happened just before 4 p.m. Friday at the Redwood City Caltrain station, located at 1 James Ave., according to the Redwood City Police Department.

The man was arrested on suspicion of child annoyance, as well as a warrant stemming from a different crime and for possession of drug paraphernalia, police said.

The man does not match the description of a suspect in a similar incident at the station on Aug. 18, according to police. The suspect in that case is missing an eye.
